Rising Powers- How Will They Affect the US
Beginning in June 2006 through 2007, the Academy
is teaming up with World Affairs Councils across the country, to present
our Rising Powers Series. Ten events will be held to promote discussion
and understanding of the world's rising powers, such as Brazil, China,
and India, and the policy implications their growth will have on the US.
Most recently, Ambassador Tony Gillespie visited Portland, Maine on May
24 to speak about Latin America.
