2014 Annual Meeting

The 2014 Academy Annual Meeting was held on Wednesday, May 28th, from 12 to 2 pm at the DLA Piper/Cohen Group conference center. The annual meeting speaker was The Honorable Tom Perriello, who talked about the concerns and focus of the new Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review (QDDR). Perriello, a former Congressman from Charlottesville, Virginia has overseas experience in Africa and Afghanistan. He had been asked by Deputy Secretary Heather Higginbottom to lead the Department's preparation of its second QDDR.
