The University of Nebraska Omaha was honored to host the 2016 Omaha Ambassadors Forum, supported by Burlington Capital International and The American Academy of Diplomacy. The theme for the annual event was Changing Borders: US Interests in a Fragmenting Middle East. The presenting speakers were Ambassadors Ronald Neumann, John Limbert, and Robert S. Ford. Ambassador James Collins moderated the discussion.

The distinguished panel discussed the breakdown of the hundred year old state system of the Middle East. Multiple wars, insurgencies, and crises are ongoing and the US military is simultaneously engaged in several of them. They offered strategic insight into the formulation of a coherent American policy for this complex region.

This event took place on Friday, April 29th from 11:30am to 2:00pm.
