2021 – Foreign Perception of the US in the Post-COVID World
On March 2, 2021, the sixth installment of the American Academy of Diplomacy’s Texas Tech Ambassadors Forum welcomed Ambassadors Jimmy Kolker, Harry Thomas, and C. Lawrence Greenwood to discuss “Foreign Perception of the US in the Post-COVID World: What is reality? What is myth? And does it matter?” Moderated by Academy President, Ambassador Ronald Neumann, the panelists hosted a public discussion, as well as virtual sessions with Texas Tech faculty, staff, and students, members of the leadership of the Lubbock Independent School district, and about 200 local high school students.

- Ambassador Lawrence Greenwood — Former Ambassador to the Asian Pacific Economic Conference, former Vice President of the Asian Development Bank and former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs.
