AAD, in partnership with the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Affairs at Seton Hall, hosted t “Crisis Management and Diplomacy: The Value of Stabilization and Conflict Prevention”. The event took place at Seton Hall University on Tuesday, October 25, 2011

Panelists discussed why we should care about pre-crisis stabilization, crisis management and conflict prevention. A central theme was the role of diplomacy in crisis prevention and post-conflict reconstruction and which organizations should take the lead. Panelists also explored cases of success and failure in crisis management and prevention. The conference agenda is listed below.
