2022 - Texas Tech Honors Seminar

The Texas Tech, two-week Washington DC course segment consisted of two parts. During week one Academy members will lead discussions by examining global regions (e.g. East Asia, Africa, Western hemisphere, etc.) and cross-cutting themes (international security, health and the environment, human rights and refugees, etc.) During Week 2 students will visit select think tanks and policy groups to hear directly from their experts on issues the institution is currently prioritizing. Students will also meet with congressional staff who follow global issues on the House Foreign Affairs and Senate Foreign Relations committees.
